Introduction
This place is a sacred site enriched with religious significance and history like Krishna Gandaki and Mukti Kshetra. This place is adorned with the tapasya of tapaswis such as Pulastya, Pulaha, and Jadabharat. Similarly, famous pilgrimage sites like Galeshwor Dham, Kaalanjar Parvat, Panchkot, Kalika and Malika temples are also located in this area. In the central part of these pilgrimage sites lies the land where the tapasya of Maharshi Salankayan is believed to have taken place, situated on the cliffs of Kudulephedi amidst the picturesque mountains adorned with remaining sculptures.
In 2042, a grand Mahayagya was conducted by Shree Shridharacharya Srinivasa Mukti Narayan Ramanuja Swamy, leading to the establishment of the Shree Rangavenkatesh Mukti Narayan Temple and Ved Vidyalaya. Not only that, but with the aim of preserving and promoting the ancient Vedic religion, culture, and civilization, Maha Yagyas were organized in various places across the country, resulting in the establishment of Ved Vidyalayas and temples in those places.
Structure of the Temple
Shree Rangavenkatesh Mukti Narayan Temple was constructed by Shree Shridharacharya Swamy in 2044 B.S. However, as the structure of the temple was deteriorating, the temple was reconstructed in a new style using materials manufactured locally such as twenty-four thousand Gandaki stones engraved with the name ‘Shree Ram’ in Nepali architectural style. It was under the guidance of Swami Kamalnayanacharya and Swami Rishiprapannacharya. This resulted in the construction of a beautiful and grand temple. The temple houses ancient style sculptures and wooden idols of gods and goddesses crafted in wood. Additionally, the sculptures of Garuda stambha, Brahma-Vishnu-Mahadev in the upper part, add to its splendor. The temple also features sixty-four Tundals, twenty-four incarnations of Lord Narayan, ten Dikpals, Ashtalakshmi, Dashavatar, and twenty eight Bhayal symbols representing twenty-seven constellations and the moon. The temple and its worship mandaps are adorned with copper plates. Moreover, temples of Sita-Ram, Radha-Krishna and Shiva-Parvati can also be seen in the temple premises. Along with that, facilities like school, sacrificial hall, cowshed, hostel, and Tulsi garden further enhance the grandeur of this temple. Inside the premises of the Shree Rangavendatesh Mukti Narayan Temple also include the ‘Swami Shridharacharya Shaligram Museum’.
Shaligram Museum
In this holy land where Sage Shankaracharya meditated under the Saal tree, a beautiful cave resembling a trident, about a hundred meters tall, was built leading to the establishment of the Shree Shaligram Museum. Various forms of Shaligrams, representing different carvings are enshrined in this museum. There are different sections inside this museum such as the Shree Krishna Gandaki Section, Muktinath Section, Shaligram Museum Section, Swami Shridharacharya Smriti Section, and Swami Shaligramacharya Smriti Section. Beautiful descriptions of these scenes are depicted here. Scenes ranging from the origin of Krishna Gandaki at Damodar Kund to the pilgrimage sites like Triveni Dham, along with villages, rivers, caves, snow-capped peaks, hills, forests, historical forts, and religious sites are vividly portrayed in different sections. A panoramic picture encompassing all these subjects is also prepared to be displayed.
Shree Muktinath Veda Vidyashram
Located three kilometers north of Kudulephedi hill in Baglung district headquarter, the Shree Muktinath Veda Vidyalaya is situated in the vicinity of this temple. This veda vidyshram provides free education, initiation, boarding, and lodging, including the study of Vedas, Puranas, Upanishads, Smritis, Byakaran and astrology to the students from various parts of the country. Many individuals who have studied here have become saints, scholars, the head of monasteries, professors and preachers in the country and abroad.
Special Festivals and Events at the Temple
Regular worship of the deity according to Vedic rituals prescribed by the Pancha Ratragam takes place in this temple. Special festivals, ceremonies and worship are conducted during occasions such as Ram Navami, Krishna Ashtami, Narasimha Chaturdashi, Vamana Jayanti, Ekadashi, Purushottama Month and Dhanurmasa (the month of Poush). Every year, the grand festival of the deity Brahmotsav is celebrated every year with great, attracting devotees from both within the country and abroad. It is believed that worshipping the Shaligram alone at home can cleanse individuals of all accumulated sins and attain divine happiness in this world and the next. Hence, the belief persists that by witnessing and worshiping the Shaligram, one can attain divine bliss both in this world and the hereafter. This leads to the belief that worshipping or visiting over a million Shaligrams kept here for darshan and charanamrit consumption resulting in the destruction of sins accumulated over many lifetimes and the attainment of worldly happiness and divine joy. Consequently, thousands of people visit here daily for darshan, while many devotees actively participate in the regular worship of the temple. Even those unable to attend personally contribute to the deity’s service from within the country and abroad. Many devotees participate in the temple’s regular worship through archana, Brahmin feasts, service to saints and serving the needy through the temple. All devotees residing in the country and abroad are heartily invited to visit this sacred site and gain merit by worshiping the Shaligram.

शालिग्राम सङ्ग्राहलयको परिचय
परिचय
यो ठाउँ कृष्णागण्डकी र मुक्तिक्षेत्रजस्ता धार्मिक महत्व तथा इतिहास बोकेका र पुलस्त्य, पुलह, जडभरत जस्ता तपस्वीहरूको तपोमय साधनाले परिपूर्ण स्थल हो। त्यस्तै, गलेश्वरधाम, कालञ्जर पर्वत, पञ्चकोट, कालिका, मालिका आदि सुप्रसिद्ध तीर्थस्थलहरू यहाँ रहेका छन्। यी तीर्थस्थलहरुको मध्यभागमा, शालंकायन महर्षिको तपोभूमि मानिएको कुडुलेफेदी, शेषाकृतियुक्त पहाडको काखमा अवस्थित छ। कुडुलेफेदीमा श्री श्रीधराचार्य श्रीनिवासमुक्तिनारायणरामानुज जीयर स्वामीज्यूद्वारा २०४२ सालमा धनधान्यान्चल महायज्ञ गरी श्रीरंगवेंकटेश मुक्तिनारायण मन्दिर र वेद विद्याश्रमको स्थापना गर्नुभयो। त्यति मात्र नभएर, उहाँले लोप हुन लागेको सनातन वैदिक धर्म, संस्कृति र सभ्यताको संरक्षण र संवर्द्धन गर्ने उद्देश्यले देशका विभिन्न स्थानमा समेत धनधान्याचल महायज्ञको आयोजना गरी ती-ती स्थानहरुमा वेद विद्याश्रम र मन्दिरको स्थापना गर्नुभयो।
मन्दिरको बनावट
श्रीरंगवेंकटेश मुक्तिनारायण मन्दिर श्रीश्रीधराचार्य स्वामीज्यूले २०४४ सालमा निर्माण गरी सञ्चालनमा ल्याउनुभएको थिए। तर, त्यो मन्दिर जीर्ण भएकाले त्यसलाई नवीन शैली, शिल्प प्रयोग गरी नवनिर्मार्ण गर्न मुक्तिनाथ पीठाधीश्वर स्वामी कमलनयनाचार्यज्यूको सदीक्षानुसार स्वामी ऋषिप्रपन्नाचार्यज्यूको प्रयासले नेपाली वास्तुशैलीमा ‘श्रीराम’ नाम अङ्कित चौबीस हजार गण्डकी शीलाद्वारा स्वदेशी सामग्रीहरूको प्रयोग गरी सुन्दर, विशाल मन्दिर निर्माण गर्नुभएको हो। यस मन्दिरमा प्राचीन शैलीशिल्प एवम् देवदेवीका मूर्तिहरू काष्ठकलामा कुँदिएका छन्। त्यस्तै, नेपाली वास्तुशैलीमा निर्मित गजुर, गरुडस्तम्भ, उच्च भागमा निर्मित ब्रह्मा-विष्णु-महादेवको मूर्तिले यसको शोभा अझ बढाएको छ। यस मन्दिरमा बनाइएका चाँसट्ठी टुंडाल, चौबीस नारायणका अवतार, दस दिक्पाल, अष्टलक्ष्मी, दसावतार, अट्ठाइस भयालले सत्ताइस नक्षत्र र चन्द्रमाको प्रतीकका रूपमा देखाइएको छ। मन्दिर र मन्दिरको आराधना मण्डप, ताम्रपत्रले छाइएको छ। साथै, मन्दिर प्राङ्गणमा सीताराम, राधाकृष्ण र शिवपार्वतीका मन्दिर पनि देख्न सकिन्छ। साथै पाठशाला, यज्ञशाला, गौशाला, छात्रावास, तुलसी वाटिका आदिले यस मन्दिरको शोभा झनै बढाएको छ। श्रीरंगवेंकटेश मुक्तिनारायण मन्दिर परिसरमा ‘स्वामी श्रीधराचार्य शालिग्राम सङ्ग्रहालय’ देख्न सकिन्छ।
शालिग्राम संग्राहलय
शालङ्कायन ऋषिले शालको वृक्षमुनि बसेर तपस्या गर्नुभएको यस पवित्र भूमिमा, करिब सय मिटर बराबरको त्रिशूलाकृतिको सुन्दर गुफा निर्माण गरी श्रीशालग्राम सङ्ग्रहालय स्थापना गरिएको छ। यस सङ्ग्रहालयमा विभिन्न स्वरूपका चक्राङ्कित सवालाख शालिग्राम विराजमान हुनुहुन्छ। यहाँ श्रीकृष्णागण्डकी खण्ड, मुक्तिनाथ खण्ड, शालिग्राम सङ्ग्रहालय खण्ड, स्वामी श्रीधराचार्य स्मृति खण्ड, स्वामी शालीग्रामाचार्य स्मृति खण्डहरू रहेका छन्। यसमा ती दृश्यचित्रहरूको सुन्दर वर्णन गरिएको छ। कृष्णागण्डकीको उद्गमस्थल दामोदर कुण्डदेखि त्रिवेणीधामसम्मको वहाव क्षेत्र एवम् त्यसको वरपर रहेका गाउँ, नदिनाला, खोँच, हिमशृङ्खला, पहाड-पर्वत, वनजङ्गल, ऐतिहासिक गढी र किल्ला एवम् धार्मिक स्थलहरूको अलग-अलग खण्डमा सजीव प्रतीकचित्र देखाइएको छ। यी सबै विषयलाई समेटेर बनाइएको एक घण्टाको वृत्तचित्र समेत तयार गरी देखाउने लक्ष्य लिइएको देख्न सकिन्छ।
श्रीमुक्तिनाथ वेदविद्याश्रम
बागलुङ सदमुकामबाट तीन किलोमिटर उत्तरतर्फ कुँडुलेफेदी पहाडको काखमा अवस्थित यस मन्दिरको सान्निध्यमा श्रीमुक्तिनाथ वेदविद्याश्रम रहेको छ। वेद, पुराण, उपनिषद्, स्मृति, व्याकरण, ज्योतिषसहित आधुनिक भाषाहरूको अध्ययन हुने यहाँ देशका विभिन्न भागबाट आएका वटुकहरूले निःशुल्क शिक्षा-दीक्षा र आवास-भोजनसहित ज्ञान हासिल गरिरहेका छन् । यस वेदविद्याश्रममा रहेर अध्ययन गरेका धेरै व्यक्तिहरू देश विदेशमा साधुसन्त, मठाधीश, पीठाधीश, प्राध्यापक, धर्मप्रचारक आदिको रूपमा रहेका छन्।
मन्दिरमा सञ्चालन हुने विशेष उत्सव तथा पर्वहरू
यस मन्दिरमा भगवानको वैदिक विधिपूर्वक पाञ्चरात्रागम विधिले नित्य आराधना हुने गर्दछ। त्यस्तै, रामनवमी, कृष्णाष्टमी, नृसिंहचतुर्दशी, वामनजयन्ती, एकादशी, पुरुषोत्तम मास, धनुर्मास (पौष महिना) आदि समयमा विशेष पर्व, पूजा एवं उत्सव मनाइने गर्दछ। प्रत्येक वर्ष भगवानको ब्रह्मोत्सव (वार्षिकोत्सव) धुमधामका साथ मनाइन्छ। जसमा देशविदेशबाट भक्तजनहरूको भव्य उपस्थिति रहने गरेको छ। हामीले घरमा एकमात्र शालिग्राम राखेर नित्य स्नान गराई चरणामृत पान गरेमा हामीले जानी नजानी गरेका सम्पूर्ण पापहरूको नााश हुन्छ भन्ने विश्वास राखिन्छ। त्यस्तै, यहाँ राखिएका सवा लाखभन्दा बढी शालिग्रामको दर्शन, चरणामृत पान गर्नाले मनुष्यले आफ्ना जन्मजन्मान्तरको पाप नाश भई यस लोकमा सुख र परलोकमा पनि दिव्य आनन्द प्राप्त गर्दछ भन्ने जनविश्वास रहिआएको छ। जसका कारण दैनिक हजारौँ व्यक्तिहरू दर्शनार्थ यहाँ आउने गरेका छन्। पूजाआजा सेवामा सहभागीता धेरै भक्तजनहरू यस मन्दिरको नियमित पूजाआजामा संलग्न हुनुहुन्छ। आफू स्वयं उपस्थित हुन नसकेकोमा अवस्थामा पनि आफ्ना परिवारको उपस्थितिको वा आर्थिक सहयोग गरी देशविदेशबाट धेरै भक्तजनहरू भगवानको नित्य सेवामा जोडिने गर्नुभएको छ। भगवानको अर्चना, ब्राह्मण भोजन, साधुसन्त सेवा, दीनदु:खीको सेवामा पनि यस मन्दिरको माध्यमबाट धेरै भक्तजनहरू संलग्न हुने गर्दछन्। समस्त देशविदेशमा रहनुहुने सबै श्रद्धालुजनहरुलाई यस पावन क्षेत्रको भ्रमण गरी शालिग्राम भगवानको दर्शन गरी पूण्यलाभ गर्नुहुन हार्दिक आमन्त्रण गर्दछौँ।
