Standing near the viewtower are the iconic horns of Yharujho. They resemble the shape of this hill. Yharu-Jho view point is one of the best places to experience the beauty of this region. From3750m above the sea level, you can see the World’s Deepest Gorge, Kaligandaki Gorge from this location. Overlooking, the boundary of Mustang area, you can identify Thorong La Pass and even the China border.
You can also see the local natural vegetation and the nearby forest that was destroyed by fire few years ago. It offers panoramic view of dozens of mountains of the great himalayan range. Sunrise from Yharu Jho viewpoint is truly an incredible experience. You can cherish the mirror image of the Mt Nilgiri, Mt Dhaulagiri, Tilicho peak, Syang himal, Tukuche peak, etc. It also offers bird eye view of some villages such as Jomsom, Marpha, Pagling, Phalyak, Kagbeni, and some villages of upper mustang. Other famous places like Kora La and Kaligandaki Valley can be seen from the viewpoint.
