You can visit Bhonpo Retreat, also locally known as ‘bhagumba’ at a distance. This ancient relic is named after the nearby cow’s pasture area. It is still believed that Black bon priest comes here to meditate alone, even now. You can visit here to meditate or prey in a perfect peaceful and serene ambience.
Also, it is a boundary for the pasture lands of yaks and goats. For yaks, it is the lowest point of pasture and for the goats, the highest. Be aware! You are in perfect area for a snow leopard’s sighting. Mostly during winter, some of the locals have sighted snow leopard at the baseline of the nearby hills and sheds. Some of the nearby sheds with livestocks were also targeted by this illusive predator. Also, this area signifies the nature’s upcoming adventures.
