An open area on a top of a small hill, offers a first glance at the beauty of this trek. You can see the beauty of Thini Village from this location. Kuchap Terenga Monastery’s Hill, also known as Elephant Hill’s resemblance to that of Elephant head can be identified from this location. After you find the Elephant’s Head, try tracing the trunk and ear of the elephant. Dhumba Lake and other mountain peaks are also perfectly visible from this point.
Locally this place is known for its strong winds. During the Falo Festival, celebrated during the Bhadra month, this place is used as one of the hiding locations for Rice wine(Chyang). As part of the festival, Local youths have to ride their horses and find these rice wine treasures in three different places.
