Rows of traditional mud-and-thatch houses can be seen here. Visitors can directly observe the community’s traditional art and dance, including the native Sakhiya, Jhumra, and Lathi dances. The 150-Year-Old Chatiwan Tree
This massive tree, standing at the heart of the village, is a historic landmark. Local residents have preserved it as cultural heritage since ancient times. A shrine to a deity known as “Ghotaili Sugharki” stands beneath this tree, which has been worshipped with religious and cultural devotion since ancient times. According to Tharu custom, this deity must be worshipped according to proper ritual before any wedding held in this place. It is also the customary gathering place for any meeting or assembly in the village.
A Beautiful Suspension Bridge
This bridge, located on a river near the village, has become a major attraction for sightseeing and photography.

The area adjoining the suspension bridge is well known for picnicking and family entertainment. The nearby historic Bhagaurba area reflects the region’s historical and strategic significance.
