Agni Kund

Welcome to Agni Kund, Janakpurdham

It is said that the king Janak prayed at this Agni Kund, hence the nomenclature of this section was also kept in Agnikund. It is very important to bathe for the fulfillment of wishes on the day of Falgun Purnima. There are many lakes in Janakpurdham like Paapmochan, Rukminisar, Bidar Sar and Laxman sar. Due to the lack of cleanness, it is difficult for tourism and for worshiping of Shiva at Janakpurdham and its surrounding. Ram Nandi Baisnav communities have been worshipers of this religion.
