Shree Janaki Vivah Mandap

Welcome to Shree Janaki Vivah Mandap, Janakpurdham

Shree Ram Janaki Vivah Mandap (wedding spot) is located in the north of Shree Ram Janaki Temple and is another religious place. The earthquake in BS. 1990 damaged the mandap and the construction of new altar began in BS.2026 and was inaugurated

in BS. 2042. There are four Mandap in the four corners of the Garva Mandap. There are marble statues, including Ram Sita, four brothers and their spouses, all of which are called Kohbar in Mithila. The altar is glass protected. In the center of the Garva Griha, beautiful statues of Ram Sita are placed facing east-west. This altar is under supervision of Janaki Mandir trust.
