The Rani Pati temple was constructed in the year BS. 1933 and the statue of Ram Sita Laxman and Hanuman is in this temple. It is a strong belief that visiting this temple is worth chanting 12 lakh 50 thousand times Ram Ram. This temple was constructed by Ram Kumari Devi, the younger Queen of Sri Jung Bahadur Rana. When the Queen came to Janakpurdham to pray a visit to Lord Ram Janaki, the queen desired to build a Nepali style temple.
The Rani Pati temple was build in Nepali Shikhar style where small Aakhi Jhyal (windows) were placed. This place is also called Rani Pati since it was founded by Queen (Rani) Ram Kumari Devi. Vivaha Panchami, Ram Navami, Janaki Navami, hula etc. are celebrated here. It is on the north side of Bihar Kunda road.
