1. Welcome & Introduction
Meet your local host at Bardia Homestay and learn about the Guruwa and appropriate cultural etiquette.

2. Visit the Guruwa
Walk or travel with your host to the Guruwa’s home or ritual space while learning about local Tharu traditions.

3. Meet the Guruwa
Hear about Tharu spirituality, traditional worship, ancestral beliefs, protection and local practices.

4. Spiritual Experience
Learn about animals, forest, traditional healing practices, medicinal plants and indigenous knowledge passed through generations.

5. Worship & Blessing
Observe an authentic traditional worship or blessing ritual. Where appropriate, guests may receive a personal blessing.

6. Reflection & Return
Return to Bardia Homestay and reflect on the experience over tea or a traditional refreshment.
