Sona Mai Shaktipeeth, located in Mahottri districts , has been famous for a ghost fair since ancient times. Every year, from Saptami to Vijaya dasami, Ghost fair is held. Thousands of victims and protesters appear to be crowded in this festival. People troubled from ghost come here from Nepal-India’s. It is also believed that by the grace of the Sona Mai people will not have ghost problems. This temple is in Mahottari district.
