Welcome to Shree Maharani Mai Temple!
Shri Maharani Mai Temple, located near the Pipara Bazaar area of Durga Bhagwati Municipality, is worshipped as the Kuldevi (ancestral goddess) by the local residents. Inside the temple, there are seven goddess shrines, collectively known as “Saat Mai Jagadamba.” The temple complex also houses a flag of Bajrang Bali Hanuman.
Believed to have existed for around 100-200 years, this temple has been a sacred site since the settlement of Pipara village. Due to its historical and spiritual significance, it is widely regarded as a divine protector of the community.
Daily Worship & Rituals
As a Kuldevi (ancestral goddess), the temple is a vital place for daily prayers and offerings. Before starting any auspicious event or fulfilling a vow (Bhakal), devotees first perform worship here.
Festivals & Special Occasions
- The temple witnesses a large gathering of devotees during Dashain, weddings, and Diwali, where special prayers are offered.
- Devotees visit the temple for Bhakal (vow fulfillment) and other religious rituals. Some offer animal sacrifices, while others perform symbolic offerings without sacrifice.

नमस्कार ! हजुरलाई श्री महारानी माई मन्दिरमा स्वागत छ ।
दुर्गा भगवती गाउँपालिकाको पिपरा बजार क्षेत्र नजिकै अवस्थित श्री महारानी माई मन्दिर यहाँका स्थानीयवासीहरुको कुलदेवीको रुपमा स्थापित हुनुहुन्छ । मन्दिर भित्र सात वटा देवीहरुको स्थान रहेको छ भने संयुक्त रुपमा सात माई जगदम्बा भनिन्छ। मन्दिर परिसरमा बजरंग बलि हनुमानको ध्वजमा रहेको छ। कुलदेवीको रुपमा स्थापित श्री महारानी माई मन्दिरको स्थापना पिपरा गाउँ बसेको बेलाबाट नै देवीस्थान रहेको कारणले यो धेरै पुरानो करिब करिब १००-२०० वर्ष अघि नै यथावत रहेको स्थानीयवासीहरुको मान्यता रहेको छ ।
श्री महारानी माई मन्दिरमा नित्य पूजा हुने गर्दछ भने कुलदेवी भएको कारण अन्य कुनै शुभारम्भको लागि पूजा वा भाकल गर्नुक साथै अन्य पूजा गर्न अघि यहाँ पूजा गर्ने चलन पनि रहेको छ । विशेष गरेर, दशैं, विवाह तथा दिपावलीको दिन यहाँ पुजाजा गर्ने र भक्तजनहरुको विशेष भीड हुन्छ । त्यसै गरि, भाकल तथा अन्य पूजा गर्ने बेलामा यहाँ बलि दिएर वा नदिएर पनि यहाँ भक्तजनको आगमन हुन्छ ।
