Om Namah Shivaya! Welcome to Baba Bageshwarnath Temple.
No matter how much I talk about the virtues of this temple located on the banks of the Bagmati River, it is not enough. This temple, located on the banks of the Bagmati River, is worshipped twice a day. This village used to suffer a lot of loss of life and property due to floods. After the establishment of this Baba temple, which is about 40 years old, there has been no flood here.
Various fairs are held in the temple on the main days such as Shri Panchami, Maghe fair, fair for Saraswati Puja, Kartik fair, etc. Apart from this, fairs are also held on the Shiva night of Phagun and on Shravan Monday. It is customary to purify oneself by bathing in the nearby Bagmati on the full moon day.

ॐ नमः शिवाय ! हजुरलाई बाबा बागेश्वरनाथ मन्दिरमा स्वागत छ ।
बागमती नदीको किनारामा अवस्थित यस मन्दिरको गुणहरुको बारेमा जति बखान गरे पनि कम नै हुन्छ । बागमती नदीको छेउमा बिराजमान यो मन्दिरको दैनिक दुई पटक पूजा हुने गर्दछ । यो गाउँमा पहिला देखि नै बाढीको प्रकोपले धेरै जनधनको क्षति हुने गर्थयो । करिब ४० साल भन्दा पुरानो यो बाबाको मन्दिरको स्थापना भएपछि यहाँ बाढी आउन सकेको छैन ।
मन्दिरमा मुख्य तिथिका दिन विभिन्न मेलाहरु लाग्ने गरेका छन् जस्तै श्री पंचमी, माघे मेला, सरस्वती पूजामा लाग्ने मेला, कार्तिक मेला, आदि यस बाहेक फागुणको शिव रात्रीमा र श्रावण सोमबारको दिन पनि मेला लाग्ने गरेको छ । धेरै जसो गरेर पुर्णिमाको दिन नजिकैको बागमतीमा स्नान गरेर शुद्ध हुने चलन रहेको छ ।
