Namaste! Welcome to Gopal Krishna Temple.
Located in the market area of Matsari village, the Gopal Krishna Temple is dedicated to the childhood form of Lord Krishna. This sacred temple was established by Pandit Sundar Mishra and remains a center of devotion for the local community. The temple was founded in the Nepali year 2051 B.S. (1994 A.D.), and its daily worship rituals are currently performed by Narasingh Mishra.
Religious Significance & Rituals
The temple is especially vibrant during Krishna Janmashtami, when devotees gather to sing devotional songs (bhajans and kirtans) in celebration of Lord Krishna’s birth. The chanting and prayers continue until the auspicious moment of Krishna’s birth. Besides this, devotees visit the temple on other special occasions to perform prayers and seek blessings.

Established by Pandit Sundar Mishra, the Gopal Krishna Temple remains a center of faith for the locals to this day. The temple was established in the year 2051 BS (1994-95 CE). Currently, the daily worship at the temple is conducted by Narasimha Mishra.
Especially on the day of Krishna Janmashtami, devotees gather at the temple to sing bhajans and kirtans in praise of Lord Krishna. These devotional songs continue until the auspicious moment of Lord Krishna’s birth. Additionally, devotees visit the temple to offer prayers during other auspicious occasions as well.

नमस्कार ! हजुरलाई गोपाल कृष्ण मन्दिरमा स्वागत छ ।
मत्सरी गाउँको बजार क्षेत्रमा अवस्थित गोपाल कृष्ण मन्दिर, कृष्णको बाल स्वरुपमा पुजिन्छ। पण्डित सुन्दर मिश्रले स्थापना गर्नुभएको गोपाल कृष्ण मन्दिर अहिले सम्म पनि स्थानीयहरुको आस्थाको केन्द्र रहेको छ। यस मन्दिरको स्थापना भने बि. सं. २०५१ सालमा भएको थियो । हाल यस मन्दिरको पूजा नरसिंह मिश्रले दैनिक रुपमा गर्दै आइराख्नु भएको छ ।
विशेष गरेर कृष्ण जन्मस्थामीको दिनमा मन्दिरमा भक्तजनहरुले भजन किर्तन गर्छन् । यो किर्तन भगवान कृष्णको जन्म हुने शुभ साहित नहुन्जेलसम्म भइरहन्छ । त्यसबाहेक पनि अन्य शुभ घडी मिलाएर भक्तजनहरुले पूजा लिएर मन्दिर आउने गरेका छन् ।
